Be Like (Rebel) TV STAR from the 70s is a photorelation of an art-performance featuring the “multiplied” figure of Majka the protagonist of the TV series from the 70s “wandering around the Venice Biennale” dressed in the “uniforms” of Majka – tipical light blue shirt, symbol of freedom and rebel.

Majka is a main heroine of the video installation: Majka from the Movie presented at the show Memory Box.

Memory Box / The Last Analog Revolution is a project dealing with memory, rewriting history through artists’ experience, confrontations involved in growing up on the two sides of the Iron Curtain, the experience of division, isolation, confinement, hypocrisy and terror. It is also a project about personal history embedded in the “grand history”, and finally, about the youthful dreams originating in personal and collective imagination on both sides of the invisible wall erected by the totalitarian ideology, which disunited Europe and the world for half of a century.

Performance Be Like TV Star from 70s (Majka from the Video Installation), to dzialanie polegajace na dokumentowaniu na otwarciu 54 Biennale Sztuki na terenie Wenecji, powielonej postaci Majki, bohaterki polskiego serialu telewizyjnego z lat 70. – osób noszacych lekka, niebieska, “kultowa bluzke” z lat 70., symbol wolnosci i buntu.

Majka jest postacia glówna wideo instalacji: Majka z Filmu (Szalenstwo Majki Skowron), prezentowanej na wystawie Memory Box.

Memory Box / The Last Analog Revolution jest to projekt o pamieci, o przepisaniu historii poprzez doswiadczenia artystów, o konfrontacji dziecinstwa spedzonego po dwóch stronach zelaznej kurtyny, o doswiadczeniu podzialu, izolacji, niewoli, zaklamania i terroru, to takze projekt o historii osobistej wpisanej w “wielka historie”, a w koncu o mlodzienczych marzeniach osobistej i zbiorowej wyobrazni, rozgrywajacej sie po dwóch stronach niewidzialnego muru swtorzonego przez totalitarna ideologie dzielaca przez pól wieku Europe i swiat.
