In her artistic activities both fields of art are juxtaposed, and sometimes opposed to each other. For Panek, architecture is a frame, disciplined, culturally defined form, while painting is primitive and wild, it belongs to the natural order. It can freely spread, annex, obliterate or transform physical structures. Multi-color, sensuality, movement, accumulation, overgrowing of space are important features of her artistic practice.
Her works have been exhibited at the Arsenal Gallery in Bialystok, the CCA Ujazdowski Castle in Warsaw, the Zachęta National Gallery of Art in Warsaw, the National Museum in Gdańsk, the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw.
