Zapraszamy serdecznie na otwarcie wystawy Skin Deep w Nowym Jorku, w której udział bierze Anna Orbaczewska, będąca rezydentką programu Residency Unlimited. Wernisaż odbędzie się 19 października w Residence Unlimited House at Colonels Row.

𝘚𝘬𝘪𝘯 𝘋𝘦𝘦𝘱, kuratorowana przez gościnną kuratorkę RU Izabelę Golę, ostatnia wystawa RU w tym roku na Governors Island — przestrzeni samej w sobie symbolizującej przemijalność, goszczącej artystów z całego świata — gromadzi czterech europejskich artystów, których praktyki badają 𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘺 jako liryczny kanał do refleksji nad konstrukcją osobowości.

Prezentowane są prace czterech artystów obecnie biorących udział w programie rezydencyjnym RU: Erosa Dibry, Anny Orbaczewskiej, Viktora Petrova i Milicy Zhivkovic. Poprzez swoje dzieła artyści poruszają się po świecie jako miejscu oporu, pamięci i tożsamości, często poprzez oniryczne, strumieniowe narracje, które łączą historie osobiste i zbiorowe.

We cordially invite you to the opening of the Skin Deep exhibition in New York, featuring Anna Orbaczewska, a resident of the Residency Unlimited program. The opening will take place on October 19 at the Residence Unlimited House at Colonels Row.

𝘚𝘬𝘪𝘯 𝘋𝘦𝘦𝘱, curated by RU Guest Curator Izabela Gola, the final RU exhibition of the year at Governors Island—a space itself emblematic of transience, hosting artists from across the globe—brings together four European artists whose practices examine the 𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘺 as a lyrical conduit for reflecting on the construct of selfhood.

It showcases the works of four artists currently in the residency program of RU: Eros Dibra, Anna Orbaczewska, Viktor Petrov and Milica Zhivkovic.
Through their works, the artists navigate the 𝘣𝘰𝘥𝘺 as a site of resistance, memory, and identity, often through dreamlike, stream-of-consciousness narratives that bridge personal and collective histories
